·         Analytical Techniques for Quality Control (2023-24)

     The add-on course in Analytical Techniques for Quality Control is designed to provide students and professionals with a detailed understanding of the analytical methods and tools used to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. The course covers a wide range of analytical techniques used in various industries, including food, pharmaceuticals, environmental monitoring, and manufacturing. Emphasis is placed on practical applications, data interpretation, and the implementation of quality control protocols. After the completion of the programme students can choose their carrier in food science, quality control, analytical chemistry, Food- science and Nutrition etc.

·         Food Science and Quality Control (2022-23)

      Add-on course in Food Science and Quality Control is designed to provide students and professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices involved in ensuring the safety, quality, and nutritional value of food products. The syllabi cover most of the essential features of the dietary food materials including its nutritional value, cultivation, processing and marketing. After the completion of the programme the student will get an idea about the quality of the food materials we used, what are the requirements to maintain its quality, various stages of its processing, different kinds of analytical techniques to measure its quality etc. This programme also opened a gateway for the students to choose his carrier in food science, quality control, analytical chemistry, Food- science and Nutrition etc.

  •         Add-On Course: Coir Technology(2021-22)
  •       Coir technology refers to the utilization of coir, a natural fiber extracted from the husk of coconuts, in various applications. Coir is renowned for its versatility, sustainability, and eco- friendliness. Coir technology harnesses the potential of coconut husk fibers, offering sustainable solutions across various industries. Its versatility, eco-friendliness, and advantageous properties make it a valuable resource with a promising future in diverse sectors. The syllabi cover most of the essential features of the Coir including its pioneer details, processing, and its application in industry. After the completion of the programme the student will get an idea about the fundamentals of the coir technology, its industrial applications and different kinds of analytical techniques to measure its quality etc. This programme also opened a gateway for the students to choose their carrier in various coir industry and research organization etc.

  •        Add-On Course: Green Chemistry and Environmental Sustainability (2019-20)
  •      Green chemistry is a field dedicated to designing chemical products and processes that minimize the use and generation of hazardous substances. It focuses on creating sustainable solutions that reduce environmental impact throughout a product’s lifecycle. Environmental sustainability is at the heart of green chemistry, aiming to preserve resources, reduce pollution, and promote a healthier planet. The integration of green chemistry practices into industries and research contributes significantly to environmental sustainability. It minimizes pollution, conserves resources, and reduces the environmental footprint associated with various manufacturing processes. By developing eco-friendly alternatives, such as biodegradable plastics, cleaner production methods, and efficient catalytic processes, green chemistry plays a pivotal role in addressing environmental challenges like climate change, pollution, and resource depletion. It aligns economic growth with environmental responsibility, fostering a more sustainable future. In order to make an awareness about this Green Chemistry applications and its environmental impacts department offered an add on course in this specific area. The syllabi cover most of the essential features of the Green chemistry, environmental pollution, development of green chemistry to control the pollution etc. and this programme will help pupil to get a better understanding about their surroundings.

  •       Add-On Course: Polymer Technology (2018-19)

        Add-on course in polymer chemistry provides an in-depth introduction to the essential concepts and practical applications of polymer science. The syllabi cover most of the essential features of the Polymer chemistry including its pioneer details, processing, and its application in industry. After the completion of the programme the student will get an idea about the fundamentals of various polymers used in every-day life, its industrial applications and different kinds of analytical techniques to measure its quality etc. This programme also opened a gateway for the students to choose their carrier in various industry and research organization etc.
