About IQAC

The IQAC functions as the central body for planning, guiding, and monitoring quality assurance and enhancement activities across all academic and administrative domains. With the Principal as the Chairperson, the IQAC plays a proactive role in developing strategies and implementing initiatives that ensure the holistic development of the institution, aligning with the emerging trends in higher education.

Over the years, the IQAC has evolved into a vibrant unit that facilitates participatory governance, promotes institutional best practices, and ensures the timely preparation and submission of mandatory reports such as AQAR, NIRF, AISHE, and KIRF. By constituting various criterion-wise and task-specific subcommittees, the IQAC ensures systematic data collection, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based quality improvements.

Functions of IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a central quality initiative established to institutionalize and enhance quality across all academic and administrative domains. In alignment with evolving national policies such as the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Binary Accreditation model proposed by NAAC, the IQAC has adapted its focus towards both compliance assurance and quality enhancement.

  • Development and Application of Quality Benchmarks in teaching, learning, research, and governance.
  • Create awareness and sensitize faculty, students, and staff about institutional quality goals and performance indicators.
  • Organize seminars, workshops, and training sessions; promote the culture of quality circles within departments.
  • Document academic and administrative processes, monitor quality initiatives across all departments.
  • Coordinate quality improvement efforts across the institution and serve as the connecting hub for external accreditation bodies.
  • Prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), and other documentation required for accreditation and ranking purposes.
  • IQAC actively aligns institutional processes with the Binary Accreditation model proposed by NAAC, which classifies institutions as either "Accredited" or "Not Accredited" based on minimum eligibility benchmarks.
