Associations and Clubs

Physics Association

Physics Association at St. Michael’s college has been an active platform for the past few years to encourage, motivate and equip the students in science especially in Physics. It supports to develop scientific attitude, practice thinking, speaking and listening. It also helps to sharpen the scientific skills through different activities. The association has introduced “Meet-the text book” program solely to inculcate scientific temper among the students by scientific reading. It conducts science exhibition to promote and expose students’ ideas and creativity. It also conducts activities such as seminars and discussion, quiz competitions and project presentations to broaden young mind’s enthusiasm for science.

Physmalumni

It is the activity alumni association of physics department, started in 2014.

IGNITE (Intellectually Glowing and Nurturing Initiatives on Track Enhancement): It is an initiative taken by the department in 2018. It gives the students a platform to interact with the luminaries of our alumni.
