As part of Reading Week activities, creative competitions were conducted for all students of the college on 21.6.2022. Principal Dr. Sindhu S Nair and Head of Department Dr. Mary Reema also felicitated the winners by gifting books

Speech competition and quiz for the students of the college on 1-1-2022 , Keralappiravy association with Department of History.The judging was done by Dr. Petricia Robin, Dhwajan DB, and Aparna mis.Second year Economics student Nandana S. Won first place in speech competition. First year Economics student Athul Sony won the quiz. Winners were given books as prizes.

A four-day long seminar from February 21 to 24 in connection with Mother Language Week. Renowned poet and retired professor of Maharajas College S. Joseph addressed the students about Malayalam and Malayalee society,World motherlanguageday. Chimizh, a digital magazine prepared by the students, was released by Manager Father Nelson Thaipparambil
on 22-2-2023 literary writing competitions for students were conducted. A large number of students participated in the story writing and poetry writing competitions. Anagha Dinesh, a first year student of Commerce, won first prize in poetry and Aparna Ajith of English won first prize in short story.
On 23-2-2023, Dr. S. Girish Kumar, a famous novelist and assistant professor of Thrissur KeralaVarma College, gave a lecture on the topic of pluralism of Malayalam novel.
On 24 - 2-2023, a lecture was given on the topic of Historical Paths of Drama by famous playwright and former teacher of Cherthala St. Michael's College,Dominic Pazampassery .

Basheer's famous short stories have been prepared and presented by students as audio books. Yadukrishnan, Sona C. Thomas and Jasila edited videos.Anjana Binu, Jayalakshmi K J and Ruksana CS prepared the audio.
Departments of Malayalam,History and Hindi conducted a Webinar on1.11.2021.The Resource person was Dr.Preetha Raj D.Assistant Professor, Department of History, S.N.College Chempazhandhi.The lecture was conducted through Google meet online platform.The Topic was about ‘Keralappiravi’ and the title was ‘Keralam: Bhashacharithrapaschathalathil’.
On January 19, 2022, the Malayalam Department organized a program in association with Alappuzha Mathrubhumi Books to enhance language skills and creativity in children. The aim of the program was to develop the language skills and creativity of the students by providing them with literary periodicals. 150 periodicals distributed to Malayalam students.
On February 21, 2022 World Mother Language Day, the Malayalam department organized a short film competition for students in collaboration with the History and Hindi departments. 1st Year Zoology Department succeeded in it. A prize of Rs.1000 was awarded. A poster writing competition titled 'Malayalam @2022' and a reading competition titled 'Mozhiyazhaku' were organized and coordinated by Dr.Mary Reema. Winners Athira and Sherin Anna were gifted with books

On 8-2-2021conducted Competition for students based on the topic ‘COVID’in different categories like Cartoon,poster, announcement, newspaper reporting, Television Live reporting. Competition were felicitated by Assistant professor Dr.Mary Reema and Guest Lecturer Manoj with the gift of books.
Competition for students in world book day,April 23.Students participated in Book Review,Drawing ,postermaking, cartoon. Competition were held with the aim of encouraging book reading among students.Prizes were given to the winners.
